Offering Malaysian cuisine with a Chinese infusion, Lotus first opened its doors in 1997 and has been serving quality food with an extensive seafood selection ever since.
Having won a bundle of dining awards from 1998-2010, Lotus consistently impresses with friendly service and fragrant, authentic exotic meals.
Our Port Macquarie restaurant has a huge upstairs dining space, which has views to Lighthouse Beach. Service is prompt and the well-presented dishes speak for themselves. Large groups and intimate couples are catered for, with Lotus welcoming large parties and private events in the function room.
Open for lunch from 11.30am to 2pm (closed Monday) and dinner from 5pm, the owner/operator oversees all the food preparation and staff service, while taking the time to personally welcome diners. The fantastic dining choices are complemented by a fully licensed bar, serving wine, beer, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages.
The reasonably priced menu makes it a great takeaway option and Lotus offers home delivery within the local Port Macquarie area as well. Popular dishes include Mongolian lamb, Seafood birds nest, Honey chicken and the ever-favourite Chicken and cashews. The chef’s tantalising specialties are the Shredded beef in Peking Sauce and Malaysia spare ribs.
The restaurant is clean, warm and welcoming with a mouth-watering menu that leaves you spoilt for choice. Lotus can get quite busy during summer, so if you don’t want to miss out on enjoyable meals served in a great location it’s best to make a booking.
