Basement on view
Blending an elegant fusion of past and present, ‘The BASEMENT on VIEW’, affectionately nicknamed ‘the Basement’, is the café immediately below the stunning Capital Theatre in the heart of View Street, Bendigo. The historic walls ooze character & style & are complemented with elegant french decor.
Encapsulating the inspiring and aristocratic history of the 1874 Masonic Lodge, the Basement has already become a much-needed refuge from the hectic Bendigo lifestyle, without needing to travel outside of the city fringe.
The menu features timeless favourites with an added daily changing specials board, produced from seasonal local ingredients.
