Old Courthouse Restraunt
The Courthouse is a beautiful heritage-listed timber and sandstone structure overlooking the Moreton Bay – and it definitely provides a superior dining experience. The restaurant breathes an old-world classic charm…well it was established in 1853. The scene is set by quaint interior with black and white photos lining the walls, open fireplaces and copper pots hanging for decoration. Guests are simply transported to another time. If you dine inside, make sure you go and check out the alfresco space and the award-winning gardens that overlook the bay – the view is to die for. This spot is ideal for long summer nights, and special occasions. The menu is a mixture of modern Australian and traditional European dishes like a divine Victorian lamb. For a special occasion, this location is pure gold! Best Dish: grilled fillet of barramundi coated with macadamia nuts, lemon and chives.
