Notice wrong information? Help us keep everything about Phillippa’s Bakery up to date.
Click here to send us an updateWe take an authentic approach to baking. Our bakery is committed to traditional bread baking practices that favour lengthened proving times in order to develop a distinctive character in our breads. To that end we believe in not adding anything such as malt, ascorbic acid or extra yeast, so that our doughs can ripen in an unhurried fashion. We use rye, wheatmeal, organic and stone ground flours sourced from small and family owned mills, as well as sourdough starters that date back to 1994.
