Click here to send us an updateIf you´ve ever been to the Taj Mahal you´ll probably know that a Mahal is an Indian palace. The Shish Mahal isn´t quite the Taj Mahal but it´s a nice little palace nonetheless. And they certainly do their best to make you feel like Indian royalty. Nestled in the South Perth shopping precinct, the Shish Mahal serves big portions of good quality classical Indian fare at reasonable prices. Whoever the chef is really knows how to put together his Indian spices. They make a great selection of chicken, goat, beef or seafood dishes, and they do particularly fine vegetarian dishes too. They also offer a wide selection of tandoor (oven baked) breads. If you´re a fan of naan bread try their chilli naan. For the vegetarians, the Baigan Aloo brings together eggplant and potatoes cooked in a thick onion and tomato sauce.
